HEARDO has established a strong community-level presence across Kabul Province, with a focus on vulnerable and underserved populations. Through self-funding, community contributions, local donations, and support from individual philanthropists, HEARDO implements programs in social mobilization and community engagement, non-formal and community-based education, health and nutrition (including RMNCH and IYCF), protection and gender-based violence prevention, WASH, livelihoods and microenterprise development, and organizational capacity building.
