The organization conducts rapid needs assessments to identify priority gaps and responds through integrated, multi-sector interventions that may include emergency shelter and non-food items, food security support, WASH services, protection mainstreaming, and health and nutrition linkages where feasible. HEARDO emphasizes community engagement, accountability to affected populations, and safeguarding across all humanitarian actions to ensure assistance is appropriate, dignified, and inclusive, while strengthening community resilience and preparedness for future shocks.
