Social & Behavior Change (SBC)
HEARDO implements Social and Behavior Change (SBC) interventions to promote positive attitudes, healthy practices, and inclusive social norms within communities. Through community dialogue, awareness sessions, and participatory engagement, HEARDO addresses harmful practices, strengthens social cohesion, and encourages informed decision-making related to health, nutrition, protection, gender equality, and WASH. SBC approaches are designed to be culturally sensitive, gender-responsive, and community-led, ensuring meaningful participation of women, youth, and marginalized groups. All SBC activities are guided by evidence, supported by strong MEAL and accountability mechanisms, and implemented in line with safeguarding and do-no-harm principles to achieve sustainable behavior change and community resilience.
